It was a project that got off to a good start, but unfortunately the creators decided to turn it into a scam by defrauding a user who had used the exchange to trade large sums. The situation has been widely discussed on BitcoinTalks and AltcoinTalks.

I've used Tomboi exchange to trade many BTC, LTC, ETH, SOL, USDC, and USDT to XMR and in all those exchanges were completed without any issue.
